Probably, a friend of mine has his iphone set up as his windows 7 media
center remote. And seemingly there is an application that will let you use
your iphone as a remote for a Samsung lcd / led tv as well.

Well, the simple and inelegant solution is to have messages not be moved to
trash, have it purged every month, and set it to hide deleted messages. That
seems like it'll work for me. Thanks for all your help. If I run into any more
similar snares, I'll consider reinstalling Mail.

You might want to back up your rules as well. these can be found in your home

Actually there is something quicker. Just hit cmd cmd k to edit the card once
you are on a contact you want to edit. I have a similar issue but the edit
fields act funny. I have to quit interacting and interact to edit the field I'm
typing in. It is odd.
