Yeah I set all of mine to nothing. I was having dvd issues with handbreak and

Once a evice is aware of the network and knows the password, it should still be
able to connect. My ipod touch, iphone and macbook connect without problems,

First, if you have an I7 you obviously have a 64 bit processor.
That asside
look for the values of IODeviceTree and grep for firmware-abi
that value will tell you the value of your controler wich will be 32 or 64.
Use the normal io tools under terminal to display this output.

Actually, just select Add to iTunes as a spoken track in the services table,
then add a shortcut to it if you wish in the preferences. Then, just select the
text you would like to use, and hit the shortcut you have assigned. You can
also go into the context menu and click on the "Services"
If you are using a full-sized Apple keyboard, you can press control+F3 and that
should do the trick. the other way would be to use the track pad gesture:
double tapping with 2 fingers somewhere along the bottom of your trackpad.

Yes, auto connect works just fine using this option.
I use a hidden SSID with 802.1X auth and it works fine.

encrypted. I had to put in the password on the Macbook and iphone. Sometimes,
my Macbook will lose connection with the router and say Airport has no signal,
