Hi and thanks for the suggestion.

The big question is this: Have they as of yet implemented tha much needed scrub
feature? The one where you audibly can search to places where you want to set
start/stop points for editing? I really hope they have, since otherwise i don't
think it's worth upgrading.

I don't quite understand what you mean. I've alwys been able to easily find
the places I want to edit to cut things out or drop things in. The process of
editing, so far as I can tell, seems to be the same as before. The trem
silence still seems not to work; but, I love the new way you do

Hi!
I think it is just a matter of what we are used to. I use the method you're
describing here. You can in fact delete a marker. I guess the command is:
command-delete but I haven't checked yet.
I'm going to upgrade tomorrow. THis weekend will be nice with Amadeus Pro 2!:)

For those who have fooled about a bit more than i have with amadeus pro 2, what
does this smart editing thing do and to what commands do they apply? Can we
use them, the commands that is?

Hi,
The other thing that sometimes causes this is how the cursors follow each
other. You can turn off cursor tracking while in the Sidebar and it will stop
this behaviour.

While your suggestion works, it's a real slow-down, as far as work efficiency

I don't know what on earth that thing does, as when I opened it for the first
time, it simply played this weird music and did nothing. I couldn't flick
around the screen at all. Before this, it just crashed and through me back onto
my home screen.

Daniel,
I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall your OS. It seems like something in the
software update application got corrupted somehow.
Hope this helps, even though it's not the best solution.

That seems rather drastic. Hopefully you have a backup you can restore first.
Also, have you tried googling for the error?

Another option is for her to go to www.apple.com/macosx and look for the latest
combo update, as sometimes an update is too large for Software Update to

Hi,
Yes the MacOS will do a regular time synchronization with whatever NTP server
you have set it to. This is set in the Date Time System Pref in the regular
