Hello Jürgen,
If you're scanning multiple pages, you'd be better off using VueScan to capture
the images and FineReader to do the OCR. I'll send you my little document
explaining how to set up VueScan to make this really easy.
FineReader for Mac is just an express version but it does a good job

Hi all,
I haven't forgotten about the scripts I promised. The scripts are done, the
readme is almost done, and they're about ready to go. I'm holding off because
my business just got a website, and I'm hoping to post these scripts and any
other projects I do on there. This will be easier to reme

Hi list.
I'm trying very hard to understand home sharing. I have a MacBook Pro and

Hi,
There should be no need to Interact with the actual folder or Alias. As long
as you navigate to the specific item and that item is selected, everything will
work as outlined.

I really wish companies would really look at Apple's example. They're so
committed to accessibility, they've even made emogy, like "😃😰" accessible. And
you know that, when a company goes through all that trouble to add all those
unicode characters, and more, even logic and math symbols, into pro
Hi all,
sorry, I know I had to ask this once before, but I absolutely can't find the
response. Can someone tell me how to do this?
Cheers,

Hello,
It works fairly well. When you connect it, in sounds, you will have to

quality. The other, is the sound you would hear when on a call for example.
This is the mode it will be in if using the microphone on your
Hi,
I won't argue there, I've never tried to do those things. Especially download
apps for my BT headset. That's a little to gimmicky in my opinion. haha.
Updating firmware could be an issue though. But, how many times would you need
to do that?

Thank you, both Tim & Nick for your specific instructions. I still have one
question. At any time during the process must one interact with the folder or

Thanks much

Hi Anne,
OK, that's really bad. Actually I conciddered to buy Prizmo but now I'll think

What I don't like on Finereader:
- my scaner isn't recognized by Finereader
- I'm not able to scan more than one page in a document
- before I can read the text I have to save it as a document
Hello Jürgen,
I've got the latest version of Prizmo. I had to delete the version that was on
my MBA as it wouldn't work any more and download the latest version. I bought
it quite a while back and, although it was usable then, it was messy. I still
think it's messy compared with ABBYY FineReade

Prizmo for Mac is sort of accessible but horrible to use. It does not take care

You could try pressing return on when focused on the link. That has worked for

I now downloaded the demo version of Prizmo 2 and all in all it seems to be

There's also a bunch of uninstaller apps you can get which remove all files

Those are great instructions by tracy. I never new about select mode – I'll
