I have now managed to complete the upgrade by uninstalling the VMWare tools, mounting the ISO image, and running Windows setup. I was not prompted to re-enter a product key, and the upgrade finished smoothly. I have reinstalled VMWare Tools and everything seems to be in order. Best, Grant > O
