Computer not booting after updating to Sierra

Hi all, I finally updated my 2011 MacBook Pro to Sierra yesterday. When it was done installing it booted up and I used it. I didn't shut it down until earlier this evening. A little later when I went to turn it on it gives the grinding and musical tone that it always has when booting up.

Yeah thinking about it, A go pro or similar type device would be the best option as it is a rechargeable device so doesn’t need an external power supply and video captured is saved on to an SD or Micro SD card so can be then transered on to a computer I’m not sure however how accessible the Go
