Is it possible to tell VoiceOver to not show alert messages on the braille
display at all? If not, is it at least possible to not show the word '
space' when it thinks it should? It's very distracting and I really want
it gone, post-haste :P

Going back a step to IP V6 connectivity,
I've switched my machines at home to IP v6 using I think it was 6n4 however
If I disable IP v4 I can't surf the net any longer
The cause I believe is due to the ISP not yet supporting IP v6
Can anyone advise if there is a way to get my i

A paper clip or the sim removal tool can be inserted in to the hole with trial

In braille settings in VO utility, there is a checkbox for alert messages. I
have also turned off the status cell, style cell and extended style cell to
save room on my display.

since MacOS 7 (circa 1996). Normally you only get to menu extras by
hitting VO-M twice. Weird.

new lines more frequently. Sounds like you are editing a file with blank lines
filled with space characters

Only thing I can think of is if you somehow modified the keyboard shortcut
that is usually Control-F8 move focus to status menu.
This setting is in the shortcuts category of Keyboard system settings.

I've never taken screenshots on the Mac but did so just now and was
asked if I wanted to save it to Dropbox which I did.
Another option is to use Grab which is in the Utilities folder. You
will find commands on the menu bar when Grab is launched.

On a mac there are 2 options I use for saving screan shots,
Command shift 3 which takes the screan shot and saves it directly to the
desktop of the machine or user log in.
The second screan shot option is the Command shift 4 which lets you specify
the area of the screan you wish
