to switch carriers if you find a better deal rather than being locked into a

I have tried to use voice over text selection process to enable me to copy
short segments of text from iBooks. But text selection does not show up in the
road or when I have an iBook open. This is really annoying. I know they don’t

Turn it off completely and then hold down the command key and letter R keys at
the same time.
While holding those down press the power on key, and keep holding command and
r for approx. 30 seconds.

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is make sure you don’t
have any filters active. If you’re doing any filtering you can’t type in there.
Turn off the filtering and you should be able to.

wonder if it is something to do with the iPhone 10. My 8 seems to handle Siri
stuff just fine, except when it's 30 below outside and she just doesn't want to
behave at all :).

Ha! thanks, Mark! You gave me great amo to send to my husband. He's being a
cheap skate, and doesn't want to spend the money. And our current speakers are
ones he built when he was in high school. They really do have an amazing
sound, but they're great big behemoths, standing about five fee
I have not tried this, Shawn. But I will do it this morning. For me, Siri's
gotten to the point where it's more work to try and use her than it's worth.
I'll report back to the list if toggling Siri and dictation off and on again
helps.
