than it used to do before.

having to go back and edit half the stuff I’ve dictated, so you’re not alone

Your various test-cases match my finings as well. Older hardware produces the
beep scenario when FV is enabled. Newer hardware does speak "username" and
"Password" at the FV login, but behaves with normal VO behaviours after the FV
encryption has been accepted.
