When I come across a text field that doesn’t appear to want to accept input, I bring mouse to voiceover cursor with vo+command+f5 & do a mouse click or sometimes I just press vo+spacebar and it remedies the situation. Sometimes I also interact with the text field first before pressing vo+spaceb

Well, this is on my Mac mini here using a wired keyboard. I don’t have a trackpad here either, just the keyboard. I went back and tried some of the other suggestions. No joy on any of it (including option command F5). This appears to be a problem on googles end with some non-standard java code
