So I have a question how does one access iCloud and Windows? I can
access it just fine on my phone, and on my Mac? But I’ve never been
able to get it to work in Windows. Any thoughts?

Hi,
Are you using a keyboard, or just screen gestures?

All set up. But was reminded that text files created or edited on
the Mac lose the line breaks when viewed in Windows so need to explore

Hello, everyone.
After upgrading my mid-2015 MacBook Air from Yosemite OS X 10.10.5 to
Mojave 10.14.4 (I know, quite a jump), I am noticing an increase in
incidents where Safari goes busy with websites that have a good many
controls. There are many sites where this is not a problem, but on

Hi all,
Composing this message from my new iPad 5th gen which I like so far. My
question has to do with the mail app. How do you return to the message list

Hey John,
Not sure how we got set up differently, but mine's the reverse. Flicking up
and down takes me through the complications, flicking left and right takes me
through the different options.
Thanks for the help, though, I wouldn't have thought of this had you not
suggested it.

Hmm... I see that you solve that, but I’ll go ahead and answer in case others
run into this. Because I know I’ve done it more than once. If I flick left and
right I move between my complications and the watch face. So the way I have
mine set up tap once and it’s the time flick left once he goes
Hi all,
In case this happens to anyone else, John was right. I had somehow turned on
auto-speak. to disable it, swipe right.

Hi, John,
This sounds like it could be the problem, but I seem to be missing something.
When I swipe up, it just moves me to the next complication. Am I leaving out a
step?
Thanks,

Another possibility is that it is easy to inadvertently turn on auto speak on a
complication. If you move to a complication and you swipe up for the various
actions one of them is an able auto speak. I’ve accidentally turned it on on
some items in the past.

I wish that were the case. I've powered the watch off and back on again, and
reset the watch face to be sure I was still using the one I usually use, and I
was. It's so strange.

I have switched watch faces without realizing it, the watch face may have more

Well, I have never looked at DownCast so it is hard to give a clear answer. I
would expect that either DownCast has a default location in which case, it will
probably see its library already is there, or else it will prompt you for a

Hi,
It kind of depends on the file how easy it is to share in iCloud.
Specifically, you are correct in that right-clicking to share any file is not
supported in iCloud Drive, but if you're using Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Notes
or a number of other Apple and third party services, these can be sh
I've had it set up for so long, I couldn't begin to tell you. But I don't
remember having any problems getting it set up. I have an iCloud icon on my
desk top, and when I open it, it behaves like any other File Explorer directory.

Hi all,
Since waking up this morning, my watch has begun announcing the time, my
activity status and the temperature when I tap it. It used to just speak the
time and the temperature. I'm not sure why it changed. Does anyone know if
there is a way to control what VO speaks on the watch when
Donna,
How did you get iCloud to work under Windows so access could be easy? I tried
installing iCloud Drive, but I could never get all the way through the setup
process. Once done, does iCloud Drive show up as an item when you’er in File
Explorer?
Thanks,

Hey ET,
iCloud works great under Windows. I just like it b/c it's super easy. You
store a file there, and you can access it on your Mac, your phone--using Files,
and for me, my PC. I guess I just like the interface better than either google
or Dropbox. But Ryan is right, if you need to shar
Hi Donna,
That is how I use Dropbox. I also keep my shopping list there and
bring it up at the store.
But I still run Windows as well. I suppose iCloud Drive will not
play there? Still, I should set it up and see why you like it so much,
huh. :)

No, it is not. I had forgotten about that. I have a dropbox account but never
use it. But then I'm mostly just sharing files between my own devices.

Hello Donna. Google Drive and Dropbox have easy ways to share links to files.
In Dropbox, you right-click on the file, hit the Applications key/ Shift F10 in
Windows and probably Vo Shift M on the Mac. After you bring up the context
menu, there is an option to copy link. I didn’t remember th
