Turned out to be quite simple. I used a double A and the folder
sorts to the top of the list on the Mac, iDevices and Apple TV. Now I
have my library all set up just the way I like it.

try using a space, or multiple spaces. With media titles, there is a sorting
tab which works well to deal with these sorts of sorting challenges, but it's
not available for folders or playlists.
