You can also set the passcode to be a 4-digit code, so she won’t have to type

Yes, for sure. In Settings, Display & Brightness, you can set the Auto-Lock
time to five minutes. You can even set it to Never, but I would never
recommend that to anyone. For the other part of your question, yes, again. Go
into Settings, Touch ID & Pass-Code enter the pass-code,
I had the exact same problem with the exact same book, so I just copied it into
voice dream reader and it works way easier.

Why is it that you can only have 5 fingers set as touch id options.
