Well, I store most of my data in iCloud and/or Dropbox. For data that is on my Mac mini, such as my iTunes Music library, I copy my User/Home folder to an external USB drive, then import it onto the new Mac. My Mac mini is my primary Mac. I do not keep music or other archived data on my MacBoo
