Yes, the newest MacBook Pros have eliminated the Touch Bar. I’m also sceptical
as to whether you’d be able to even replace the keyboard on a MacBook Pro of
that era now, especially with the present supply chain issues.

Yes, to be specific, the new 14 inch and 16 inch MacBook pros do not have a
TouchBar. neither does the MacBook Air.
Only the low end 13 inch MacBook Pro still has a TouchBar.
it is my guess that Apple will probably quietly do away with this model at some
point in the not too distant future.

My 14-inch MacBook Pro has a row of full-sized function keys. The Escape key is
wider than the function keys, and there is no extra space between any of the
groups of keys on the top row.

There’s only one connector which, if I remember rightly, is a combination
headphone/microphone. It also accepts high-impedance headphones, which is
apparently a new feature.
