It sounded to me like you were not at the top level of the bookmarks structure
but we’re somewhere down in the favorites. If there’s a back button keep
hitting it until you get to the top level then follow what Tim said hishistory
is the tab that you want to hit I use it all the time.

Hi,
When in Safari on the iPhone, double-tap the “Show Bookmarks” button in the
lower Toolbar. Move your finger to the top left of the screen, just below the
Status bar. Begin swiping right past the “Done” button, past Bookmarks, past
Reading List, then the next item should be History.
So, there is not a tab list near the top of the screen with bokmarks reading
list and history? I thhought that perhaps you were in private mode, but I can
still bring up my history in private tabs. Would you like me to investigate
further? Maybe there is a way to disable history in the
I actually downloaded because I launch from there on my Mac. I don't like
Safari going to the last place it was when I launch it instead of being able to
start fresh. I also have access to all my bookmarks from there and can go to
sites I frequent.

Interesting idea, but I can’t believe there’s no way to view my browsing
history from within the Safari app itself. It seems pretty ridiculous to have
to install a second app just to do something that basic. Thanks for the
suggestion though.
Cheers,
Donna

the way I do that is I installed startpage on my phone. it's also where Safari
goes on my Mac when I launch it. if I want to see history on my phone I open
startpage and then tap bookmarks. there are several choices in bookmarks and
one of them is history. this would probably work with
Well, thanks for trying anyway.

That’s the weird thing, I don’t even see history. Favorites is selected, and I
have the option to show more or show less. That’s all I see.
Thanks,
Donna

Hi Donna, can you open up Safari, then double tap on bookmarks, and then make
sure history is selected, and all of your webpages will be there.

Hi all,
First, thanks for your help with my last two questions. I’m traveling, and
decided just to bring my phone, and I’m quickly learning how much I miss my
Mac! Anyway, I briefly solved the Wordle problem but now I can’t get back to
the page where I had the accessibility extension running.
