For me the fact that HomePods do not have any sort of Bluetooth or casting
capability is a no-go for me! In case I ever want to leave the Apple
ecosystem I can't believe the only thing they let you do is airplay well I
guess I can believe it lol!

I have to agree with Donna about the HomePod. I have had Google nests, the mini ones, and overtime, Google Assistant is actually getting dumber. They’re taking longer and longer to respond and they often don’t have a clue. As for the Amazon devices, they’re OK too I suppose if you don’t mind questi
I’m running Ventura. don’t know if that has anything to do with this or not. I
can’t find that option in the shortcuts menu. I have open link behind mail,
open with…copy link (not necessarily in that order) but then it goes to share.
there’s also services.

A PDF does not download any differently! You can just click on the link.

Hello,
I apologize. I should have said that if you are using something other than an
apple keyboard you will have to create your own shortcut for it. At least I
have to when using my logitech keyboard.

hi Mary,
You might be surprised what is available, and inexpensively, to insure
your stereo equipment can connect to other things.
Part of my professional life is as a radio producer. Often those working
in broadcasting need to connect their standard equipment to these new
toys, so smaller ada
Yes that shortcut works. Have also added Quick Note to control
center on iPhone and iPad. Will give it all a test run. Did not know
this is the native Notes app.

It is just a quick way to start a new note in the Notes app, so it is just as
accessible as using the Notes app the regular way.
There is a keyboard command to start a new note, but I can’t remember what it
is.
It can be done by dragging the mouse pointer to the lower right corner of the
screen,
Hi Donna,
Well good for you keeping those speakers. I think I’ve heard of Sonos amps, and
I imagine they’re pretty pricey. I still have my old Adcom power amp and a
preamp that dates from Gali sometime in the 80s maybe. A long time ago. It
sounds great. But there’s no Bluetooth or anything anywh
Hi Brad,
On Windows, it is possible to install Logitech software to change the behaviour
of the function keys. No idea if Logitech do a Mac version.

Hi,I have an MacBook Air. I sometimes use the MacBook Air keyboard, but other times I use an Apple Magic Keyboard. Do I only need to change this setting once, or does somehow I need to do that for both keyboards?Thank you. MB.On Apr 4, 2024, at 1:20 PM, Brad Snyder wrote:This may not be possible
This may not be possible with all makes and models of keyboards.
While the built in keyboards on MacBook Air/Pro computers, and Apple Magic
Bluetooth keyboards allow modification of the behavior of F-keys, I once had a
Logitech K750 Bluetooth keyboard that would not allow modification of F-key

Hi,
Go to System Settings, Keyboard.
Interact with the scroll area and press the Keyboard Shortcuts button.
You should have 2 tables. In the side Bar table choose Function keys.
Stop interacting with the table and press VO+right and you should find what you
are looking for.
HTH.

Hi!
I can not find any way to change how f keys are behaving.
All of a sudden I have to press the fn key and vo+f8 to open VOiceOver
utilities.
I changed that long ago but have forgot.
