OK, now I am the one who is confused. Other than the changes to Quick Key Navigation, there is little difference in Sonoma, compared to Ventura. I have been using Sonoma since it was released in October, with no issues. I have found Sonoma to be a very stable release. The only thing I can think of

Hi Brad, Thanks for responding, but I’m very confused. None of the settings in Quicknav in the VO utility seem relevant at all. Single key Quicknav is turned off, and that is causing me to be taken to Recent Items. If I press Vo-Q again, Single Key Quicknav is turned on, and in that case, th

Rebooting won’t fix this issue. You need to turn off Single Key Navigation by pressing VO + Q. This feature used to only work when Quick Nav was enabled, but Apple changed how it works with the introduction of Sonoma. In subsequent updates to Sonoma, Apple refined this, and added options to modif

Yes, the Apple thing is rather interesting in the menu, but typing in mes real quick should work. Me should also work. > On Jul 2, 2024, at 19:20, 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries > wrote: > > One more thing. In Ventura, when I pressed VO-M, VO said Menu. Now when I > press it, it says App

One more thing. In Ventura, when I pressed VO-M, VO said Menu. Now when I press it, it says Apple, and it seems to actually go into the Apple menu. I say this because, when I type the letters MES, I am taken to recent items. So it seems that by pressing VO-M, I’m automatically taken into the

Hi Herbie, I’ve rebooted, and I’m still having the same issue. Is there some setting I need to change? Cheers, Donna > On Jul 2, 2024, at 5:13 PM, Herbie Allen wrote: > > Try restarting your VO as that should still work. I just tried your exact > steps and had no issues. > >> On Jul 2, 202

Hi all, I just upgraded to Sonoma. In the Mail app, I can no longer go to the messages menu by pressing Vo-M and then typing the letters MES. The only way I seem to be able to navigate to messages is to arrow through all the menu options until I get to Messages, and then up arrow Under Messag
