OK, now I am the one who is confused.
Other than the changes to Quick Key Navigation, there is little difference in
Sonoma, compared to Ventura.
I have been using Sonoma since it was released in October, with no issues.
I have found Sonoma to be a very stable release.

I just upgraded to Sonoma. In the Mail app, I can no longer go to the messages
menu by pressing Vo-M and then typing the letters MES. The only way I seem to
be able to navigate to messages is to arrow through all the menu options until
I get to Messages, and then up arrow Under Messag
Actually I did not intend to copy the entire thread. I thought it
would work that way and I could edit out unwanted material.
First I opened the thread and went to the top. Then worked my way
through, copying the desired text. That's it.
Oh and I used the context menu and clicked the
