If the event is being streamed via Apple TV, an app will appear sometime in
the early mourning called Apple Events.
Open that app and you will be able to watch when the event starts.

Mono would be best, but your recording quality would be pretty horrible.
Radio Shack or some other online cable store should have what you need.
You're going from a mono 1/8 female jack to a stereo 1/8 female line in

You should also look at the Go menu in Finder. It shows you all kinds of
folders you may want to go to, and the keyboard shortcuts to get there.
In Finder, hit VO M, then arrow right a few times to the go menu and then
