I have Open Office; in fact, the main reason I downloaded it was for the
free spreadsheet. It's usable; not as effecient as JAWS, but it is
usable; you can arrow around the cells and read the data and edit cells.

Right now I am using Windows to access podcasts. (Getting a Mac of my
own again soon.) Anyhow, I am subscribed to a couple of podcasts and
iTunes U lectures which I just discovered, but there is no 'download all
episodes' option when I bring up the context menu. There is also no

If you want to read other EPub books, Stanza is supposed to work well.

I suspect I am getting some sort of iPod at some point and I am trying
to grab free apps while I can. I have the e-book reader. I am having
trouble searching the store tough. Looking for ocean waves, streams and
rivers, rain sounds, text editing software, since I like to write, a

The trouble seems to be that the books have to be in some sort of encrypted
format, and let's face it, iTunes is sort of encrypted, but even that can
be, well gotten around. With DAISY, ye you can put them into iPod format,
but it takes a lot of work--I think--to do. Could be wrong though.
