actually try deleting with the edit button active. I will have to ttry that
when I get home.

Hi,
I tried the suggestions in this message for forcing an mp3 to download
and found on my system that the only one that works is to press and
hold option and pressing enter while sitting on the link. This works
like a charm.
Thanks Esther.

Hi Anna,
How do you know that it only works with Windows. Have you gone in to
preferences on the Mac to see if it shows up under sounds? If it does
show up,
you just need to select it to get it started working.

Hi Anna,
I was hoping that you would get it going? You will soon have the hang
of this mac environment. It is awesome just different from Windows.

Hi Anna,
If I am understanding your question, you just shutdown windows in the normal
way by pressing the command key to open the start menu and press the letter u
twice. Assuming that the problem with speech has not locked up windows, you
will hear the familiar shutdown music.

Hi Anna,
The Mac has a force quit command which will cause fusion to quit just as if you
had turned off the computer. Look in the fusion menu to see what the force quit
hotkey is. I don't remember at the moment and my Mac is at home and I am at
work.

Hi,
I am yet another very happy fusion user. I mostly use it with System Access but
Window-Eyes works just fine as well.
Anna, feel free to contact me off list if you want help.

I do not believe that I am pasting the articles twice. I tried the process a
couple of different times being very careful about pasting and I ended up with
eight files both times. I still haven't figured it out.

I will check the file sizes but I believe you are correct that one of the
duplicate files was very small in size. I just don't understand why the mac is
creating these small files with the same names as the original files.

Hi,
I bet they are files starting with the period character and I didn't realize
that the period was there because I did not have punctuation set to speak the
period character.
Thanks,

Hi All,
I just started using the current released version of Skype on my Mac. How does
one use
VoiceOver to tell whether or not a contact is online?
Also, is there any way of hanging up a call other than using the call menu?
Thanks,
Robert Carter

Hi,
When an iPod is syncing with a Mac, is there any way to get VoiceOver to speak

get VoiceOver to speak the progress of the burn process?
Thanks,

Hi,
I am using fusion and do not have this problem with my USB ports. There is a
dialog for setting up usb in the fusion setup preferences menu. Perhaps that
would help you diagnose the problem.
