One advantage of using boot camp is that all the resorsis are used and this
could come ion handy, but you would need a pare of usb headphones to get sound
at first dirring the install. If you use vmware you will have to alacate ram

Also, make sure that your authorized for 2018 and that you have any keys. If
not then you will have to contact vfo and have them reset your lisence kreys
for it to work. Go to fsactivvate.com and from there you should be able to see
how many activationas are left and reset if need be.

To get arch working just do the following at bootup. When the boot menu pops
up, down arrow once and press enter. When arch starts speaking, just type
archinstall and follow the prompts and you should be good. HTH.

One thing that carbin copy cloner does is clone your hard drive and make it
bootable which means if for some reason your main drive crashes, you can just
replace the bad drive, then clone the latest backup to the new drive and you
should be good to go. Time machine does not have this feature.
