ncftp will work in the terminal and may have a graphical user interface too.

I know, but it is mostly inaccessible. Most of the UI is just spoken as
"unknown" for some reason.

for $24 in the Mac app store although its open source. You can download it for
free from the web though. I’m not sure if there is any added benefit in
purchasing the app from the Mac app store.
