I probably shouldn't bring in a seperate issue here..., but hI
listened to your p'cast on reading mail on the Macintosh, and I don't
get my mail messages to auto-read when they open. I first have to
interact with the text block. Have you ever experienced this? In

Perhaps it's because I haven't disabled preview pane. I am able to open and
close messages with ctl-mouse-click, much as one would with VO-j. It's the
only reason I can think of, as I didn't even realize I've been viewing preview
pane. HMMM, always learning.

This may be obvious to some but...
I find that I'm using my TrackPad more and more to interact with Apple Mail.
All works wonderfully well except I cannot seem to open emails with the
TrackPad. Can this be done?
Please keep in mind that I do not use the Preview Pane, thus,

I believe you can do this by double tapping on the left side of the screen in
the middle. At least that worked yesterday for me:)

Yes, I have come to that same conclusion. I don't know, it seemed that since
one can do so many things from the TrackPad actually opening an email message
should be one of them.
