I would say I'm used to reading with TTS (Eloquence on the computer, and Voice
Dream Reader on the phone.) Since Samantha is the only option the Apple Watch,
I've gotten used to her voice, but on a lot of novels I read in VDR I use the
Alex voice.

If its a facts book like Science or history it really is a great alternative.
BUt not when it comes to NOvels for me.
Here in Sweden we have some Daisy books which are read by Ivona Astrid in
swedish.
Its great for those who need it.

I read ebooks using the Daniel voice all the time. I also listen to Audible
books and sometimes, the Daniel voice does a better job than the human reader.
However, when a good human reader does the job, it’s definitely better.

I love the iOS Kindle App because it works so well with my Focus 40 Blue
Braille display.
However, for whatever reason, until recently, I've never used the VoiceOver
Samantha TTS engine to read an entire novel in the Kindle app.
