It’s perfectly accessible. You can add a G Mail account to your iPhone and use
the built in Apple Calendar app as well.

I do not have the Google Calendar app on my iPhone. I manage my Google
Calendars on the native Apple Calendar app on my iPhone and iPad.

Gmail address if you'd rather use another one. I was helping a client sign up
with Google, and we were able to use the client's iCloud email to sign up. The
password was different from iCloud, of course, but the email
