Does anyone know if QuickBooks works with VO or if there is an equivalent
package tat is VO compatible out there?

I have been looking for accessability for Quickbooks for a long time, either on
the windows side of things or on the Mac. My husband has his own plumbing
business, and this is still the one thing that I am unable to help him with, as
he uses Quickbooks and it remains inaccessible.

Ha Ha! I would like to make it clear that I have not tried Quickbooks for the
Mac myself. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has.

Quick books has an online version. If it's not flash based it's possible that
it could be accessible, nor if it works with Safari/mac. I don't know if this
is economical but you could look into it. It's also possible that they have a

I played with the actual quickbooks for the mac last summer. Most of it is
accessible with VO, but it's not quite useable. You can see all the different
transactions, and you can review all their details with voiceover. However, the
portion where you actually write checks is inaccessibl
I had heard about that, but haven't had an opportunity to try it yet. I must
give it a go soon.
