the risks are not as low ask you think. THere are already about 12 cross
platform packages out there that will infect a mac almost as easily as windows
(only it still requires user intervention to give it admin level rights).Also,
as MS loses more of its market share (given their latest release
well, there are several that will work.
ClamXav was a free program until about 3 months ago. its still a cheap program
and fully usable in OS X using voiceover. Another is virus barrier. Its neat
and clean. Its also about $19 from the app store.

I’m interested in acquiring “protection” for my Mac Mini; this includes anti
virus and ad monitoring components. As per usual for a group focussing on
concerns for those who either see poorly or not at all, I require such software
that will lend itself to the screen reading environment as well
