You need to change gmail on web from standard view to basic html view. Here is

Of course I went to gmail in safari and go figure I open the rotor and tried to
find labels and filters and neither comes up when using the web rotor to
navigate links. How do you set these up in gmail when gmail still seems to be
very inaccessible on the web? Thanks,

Yes, you’d have to delete the rules on your Mac. Also, when you set the rules
up, there is a checkbox that says “skip inbox”. Make sure you find that and
check it, or else you’ll get a copy there.
