Burning Cd's from the finder area

2010-05-12 Thread Courtney Curran
Hi, Is there any way to burn an audio Cd from a folder directly out of the finder? If so, which I sincerely hope there is, how can this be done? I've burned data Cd's from the finder before, but I'd love to burn audio Cd's because it's a pain leafing through one thousand and some songs on Itunes

I believe you put yoru mp3s or wavs ina folder and go to the folder and go to file and you can burn the folder that way. Take care. On May 12, 2010, at 5:46 PM, Courtney Curran wrote: > Hi, > Is there any way to burn an audio Cd from a folder directly out of the > finder? If so, which I sincere

Hi, The thing is that I want to burn it as an 80 minute audio CD. When I did it the way you suggested, it made it into a data CD that can't play in a standard CD player. Thanks, Courtney On 13/05/2010, at 2:45 in the morning, Sarah Alawami wrote: > I believe you put yoru mp3s or wavs ina folder

According to Mac OSX online help, you must burn CDs with an audio application, such as ITunes. I haven't tried it myself yet, so don't know if there are some exceptions. HTH, Teresa On May 13, 3:52 pm, Courtney Curran wrote: > Hi, > The thing is that I want to burn it as an 80 minute audio CD. W

You might be surprised at how many Cd players now play mp3s from data CDs. Even cheapie portable ones are starting to support it so you can get upwards of 10 hours on a single disc, depending on how hard you compress your audio. CB Courtney Curran wrote: Hi, The thing is that I want to burn

The stereo in my room plays them, but the CD player in my grandmother's car doesn't and that's the one I use to go to school in and I play Cd's all the time in there. Simply burns works great. Thanks, Courtney On 14/05/2010, at 11:40 in the morning, Chris Blouch wrote: > You might be surprised a

If you don't like Itunes you could try Simply Burns which you can find with a google search. Much more intuitive interface. On May 13, 2010, at 8:09 PM, Teresa Cochran wrote: > According to Mac OSX online help, you must burn CDs with an audio > application, such as ITunes. I haven't tried it mys

Thanks so much, is it free? It's not that I don't like Itunes, I just don't feel like leafing through a thousand and some songs and copying and pasting each song into a playlist. I get nowhere quick with that method. Thanks, Courtney On 13/05/2010, at 9:44 in the Afternoon, David McLean wrote: >

Hi, Thanks so much for the Simply Burns suggestion. It suits my needs perfectly, I can just choose by folder, which was my intention when I first posted the original question to the list. As I post this, I'm burning my first audio CD, it's working flawlessly. Thanks Again, Courtney On 13/05/2010
