You know, I was thinking about that. I bet that we orient ourselves to the watch differently. I had a braille watch for years, so I orient myself to the Apple Watch as though it were an analog clock face, that is, with the number 12 just above the watch buttons on the front. But if I didn't

That’s something. I wonder why the difference. Because to me the behavior is just like on the phone you flick left and right through the screen to go to different elements and up and down to choose specific actions on those elements. Odd. Probably to do with a different watch faces. I’m using

Hey John, Not sure how we got set up differently, but mine's the reverse. Flicking up and down takes me through the complications, flicking left and right takes me through the different options. Thanks for the help, though, I wouldn't have thought of this had you not suggested it. Cheers,

Hmm... I see that you solve that, but I’ll go ahead and answer in case others run into this. Because I know I’ve done it more than once. If I flick left and right I move between my complications and the watch face. So the way I have mine set up tap once and it’s the time flick left once he goes

Hi, John, This sounds like it could be the problem, but I seem to be missing something. When I swipe up, it just moves me to the next complication. Am I leaving out a step? Thanks, Donna > On Apr 13, 2019, at 12:59 PM, John JD Denning wrote: > > Another possibility is that it is easy to

I wish that were the case. I've powered the watch off and back on again, and reset the watch face to be sure I was still using the one I usually use, and I was. It's so strange. Cheers, Donna > On Apr 13, 2019, at 10:51 AM, Brett Campbell wrote: > > I have switched watch faces without

I have switched watch faces without realizing it, the watch face may have more complications. Just my experience. > On Apr 13, 2019, at 8:32 AM, 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries > wrote: > > Hi all, > > Since waking up this morning, my watch has begun announcing the time, my > activity

Hi all, Since waking up this morning, my watch has begun announcing the time, my activity status and the temperature when I tap it. It used to just speak the time and the temperature. I'm not sure why it changed. Does anyone know if there is a way to control what VO speaks on the watch when
