Changing ownership of my MBP

I inherited my MBP from my brother-in-law. He had a number of programs on it already and though I made myself the administrator, or at least I think I did, his Apple account still shows up in the app store updates. How do I get his presence totally off this computer without having to reload

You can go to System Preferences in the Apple menu, then choose users and groups. Find your brother's account in the 'users, groups and login options list. If you're an administrator, at this point, you can stop interacting with this list and press VO-end to navigate all the way down to the
