No, target node does not work with USB, it might work with lightning though. Your next best alternative is too shutdown wireless on both systems and connect with a standard ethernet cable. Apple computers do not require a hub for wired connections. Best wishes, Jonathan Sent from my iPhone

Is there any reason why I couldn't transfer the bootable image of my late 2011 iMac onto my new, soon to arrive MBA? are these boot images (created with SuperDuper) hardware specific? I have the iMac setup the way I want it and, if possible, it would save alot of time and trouble setting up the MB
