Hi there folks,
I am looking for a way to connect to the free internet chess server from the
mac.
This is easy enough to do from either my iPhone or iPad, but I use to do this
in windows using Winboard. Please help if you can?

Never used (or heard of) fics before but if the command line doesn't
bother you then doing it from terminal would be a way to get started.
Just do
telnet fics.freechess.org 5000
and login.
