Hi Jeff,
That is not how it works for me. When I use command+y to move the insertion
point to the playhead and press command+g, I see the time in the file where the
insertion point and playhead are positioned. I have no idea why this does not
work for you.

Can anybody tell me how, using Voiceover, I can find out where the play head
and insertion point are located (in time) in the current track?
For example, I’d like to stop the play head and be able to hit a keystroke (or
activate a menu option) and know that I am at 1’23’’456.
