I don't remember exactly how I did it but I encrypted the USB external drive I use for my time machine backup. I probably did it with Disk Utility. All I remember is it seemed to take forever for a 1 TB partition. You might also look for PGP aware tools like gpg (gnu privacy guard). That is us

Hello all. So here's the predicament. I have a little Kingston USB data traveler 1GB thumb drive. I love this thing as it's not even the normal pin stick side flash drive. This thing is literally the size of the pad of your thumb. It's incredible! Anyway, I have some documents I've typed u
