Finished what I started yesterday, It all went well. The only issue
I had today was changing some details in the new albums on the Mac. I
find the changes Apple made in the app store and the iTunes app rather
clumsy under Mojave.

Hi Anne,
yeah, the Acadians have a unique version of French. Overall, the regional
french speaking Canadians often have negative feelings towards other regional
speakers. The Quebecois claim that they can't understand Acadian French or

Hello Tim,
Don’t feel bad about it. So many things have changed over the years it’s hard
to keep up.
While teaching VoiceOver, I regularly discover features I wasn't aware of.
It was Canadian music, specifically Acadian music, that I was converting
recently. I find their version of French fascin

I think this means that all songs downloaded from the iTunes Store will have
the M4A format, whatever your import settings may be.

Actually, the following is in the import settings which could be
misconstrued. But the proof of the pudding will come when I play the
albums on my mp3 player.

Hi,
Sorry ET. In the past, you could not convert purchased content. Apple must
have changed this at some point and I missed the memo. Sorry for leading you
astray. This, of course, is much easier and I did think of it, but was under
the misconception that one still could not convert purchas

Hello E.T.,
You don’t need to go through all that burning a CD stuff.
In iTunes, open the preferences and click the Import settings button and select
MP3 from the menu. Click the OK button and another OK button and you’ll be out
of Preferences.
you can now select all the tracks on the album and
Hi,
Hmmm. I don't believe so, but you could give it a try. I believe that the
protections are different for Audio Books, but it wouldn't hurt anything to
test it.

Hi,
I don't believe that a blank DVD will work for you. It needs to make the Audio
CD formatted media.

Hi,
Unless they've changed the protection protocols, as long as you burn it to an
Audio CD, not an mp3 CD, then these steps will work. Being that the process
has you burning an Audio CDE, going directly to the stick isn't an option,
again, unless things have changed lately.

Oh I forgot about DRM. Ok I will work my way through the Audio CD
method. If I had new Bluetooth headphones, I would forgo this and use
the iPhone or iPad instead. Thanks Tim.

Hi,
iTunes will not let you convert purchased music to mp3. Well, not directly
anyway. There is a workaround though. You would need to burn it to an Audio
CD, then re-import the tracks from your Audio CD,. The new imported tracks end
up having the DRM stripped thus allowing for the conversi
Well the idea is to put these albums on a music player. I had been
getting mu music from Amazon but decided to buy from iTunes. The music
player still works so want to use that too but it does not support m4a.
