When you get a facetime call on your mac, the window should automatically pop
up and gain focus. Then you can press vo+right arrow to the answer or accept
button.

Hi folks,
I just downloaded and installed facetime for mac on my Imac.
If I launch the app, Voice Over announces that there are no windows.
Looking in the menus, a lot of them are dimmed. So can't take a look at the
prefs for example.
From what I have red from other voice over users, it seems
suggestions should be very appreciated.

Hi folks,
any idea how I may remove FaceTime Beta from my Mac? It isn't donw if you drag
FaceTime application to trash. Even you're disconnected from FaceTime service
FaceTime assumes it is running, so there's no chance to finally kick it off,
even if it is located on trash. a bit crazy cause
if it's in the dock, try force quitting it. then trash it. I had the same
problem with DropBox; the app wouldn't shut down or trash until I force quit
(quitted?) it.

Thanks for that great advice that had solve the problem.
Hi all,
FaceTime for mac looks nice but I miss a key to delete favorites from time to
time that I don't need anymore.

THere are similarities yes. It's more simple and probably better under more
adverse network conditions but the same idea.

Hi.
I tried it yesterday too, it is easy to use, and in my opinion the sound is
pretty good. It is better than skype often is.
Best regards Annie.

It just interoperates better with the IPod and IPhone, the controls are more
simple and the compression / call quality is a bit better.
How's that?

Hello mac users.
This is just to let you know that the face time beta for mac is accessible and
works quite well.
I've only found one un labeled button in the preferences.
Enjoy.

Do you have a pointer to download the beta?

If you go to apple.com and search for the term facetime you will find that
the first link that comes up is Facetime for the mac. Click on that, and then
there will be several headings talking about what you can do. Eventually, there
is a frame that says something like Choose a download site
