I'm not sure how light it is but there is a filemaker go app for the IOS
platform.
I know you can upload the filemaker database file to your IOS device and view
the database data in different report formats on your device, possibly you can
produce a small database using that
Oh and
Thanks for the input both of you. It's hard to justify the high cost of
FileMaker for my very easy needs. I would use bento if it was still around and
modern. But I'm really disappointed that FileMaker hasn't come out with a light
version a stripped-down version for home users.
FileMaker is accessible for the most part. I haven’t tried creating new
templates but I’m using a database I created back around 1992 with FileMaker 4
and it’s working just fine. Dialogs and such are fully accessible. I found it
just a tad confusing when trying to create a brand new database
Hi,
FileMaker used to have a product called Bento which was more of a personal
database app na it was quite accessible. They discontinued it at the end of
2013. The accessibility of FileMaker itself in the past was not particularly
stellar, although I really can't comment on it anymo
Wow, I'm a bit surprised. Nobody here has any experience with any database
program on the Mac? I'd really like to know about FileMaker, but any database
you might be using with success.
Thanks

several years and not at all with voiceover. Curious to know if it plays well
with voiceover.
Thanks

I have been asking FileMaker for this for years... I used FileMaker 2,

have not been. Calls, emails and feature requests have all been
ignored. I even took the tactic of purchasing FileMaker, then telling

Hi folks.
I'm a lawyer in Virginia. Colleagues have suggested that I use a program
called FileMaker Pro to create databases. FileMaker is put out by the same
company that produces Bento, a less powerful database program They seem to be a
subsidiary of Apple.
When I downloaded the

I used to use FileMaker back in the early nineties and it was fully accessible.
I'm sorry to say that, as of my most recent check of the demo version,
FileMaker isn't accessible with voiceOver. Their Bento product is quite
accessible and is considerably less expensive. It
FileMaker seems to be well reviewed and respected as a database/server app on
Mac OS X.
I'm getting it. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with FileMaker and
could provide pointers with
VoiceOver
Thanks,
