David, thank you for responding. I will try window chooser menu because escape
doesn’t put me on the phrase I have searched for. It puts me at the beginning
of the file.

I just tried searching for a phrase inNisus Writer Pro with command F and found
the phrase without apparent difficulty. I could do this by either pressing
escape or by using the window chooser to switch to the text.
This appears to work fine in both draft and page view.

No, I haven’t tried the voiceover search option. I always forget about this

I don’t seem to able to look for a string in a text in Nisus Writer pro under
Yosemite. I press command+f, type in my string and press enter and then
nothing. The dialogue shows that a string has been found but when I press
escape to leave the dialogue, I’m still at the beginning of the d
