As I will be attempting this to replace my Windows machine (putting Windows
on my Mac) I wanted to start a thread about Fusion and keyboard issues.
One of the issues I have seen from users is an issue of keyboard focus being
maintained or switching between operating systems.
Here is the way I solve this. Once in the virtual machine, turn off voice over
and press command control enter, this puts the virtual machine in full screen
mode. Your keyboard focus will remain in the virtual machine. If you need to do
something on the mac, press command control enter again and

Am I the only one who doesn't experience issues of this sort? I have only
needed to turn VO off when dealing with my Linux VM, which doesn't have the
VmWare tools installed. My WIndows VM, by contrast, does, and I have never ran

Jeff,
Are you switching to full-screen mode when you are focussed on VMWare? You
should generally need to do this once when you first start your VM.

I'm using Fusion and Windows 7 and although I updated to the latest version of
Fusion I can't see any improvements. However if you want help with any screen
reading stuff (Jaws) just write to me off list and I'll forward the e-mail
concerning what to do although it should be in the archive.
