OK, so, to configure the notifications, go to the Skype preferences, then
interact with the toolbar, and choose the notifications tab.

In Skype open prefs [command+comma] then interact with the tool bar!
Find the notifications button and select it, then stop interacting!
Then you'll be in that window, go to the event button [it should be on when I
sign in] open that menu and you'll have all the items listed!
