Revisiting this one. In the Mac app srore, under Store, View my
account, in the Purchased area, one can redownload, open, or hide an app.
Under Mojave and Catalina, the only choice is redownload or open.
The menu that has the hide item is not accessible with Voiceover. Has

Well here is a funny. Just now the app store told me there was an
update. Sure enough, it was the app. So I looked for any copies and
deleted then dumped

Mac, you can delete it directly from your Mac. This will only delete it from
that specific Mac and it is downloadable in the future if you decide you want
