inches computer. mY mac is a 2015 model. I thik this is a bug. Hopefully it

I am trying to work out why my mac is displaying the login panel about five
minutes after inactivity and can't figure it out. I have set the screen saver
to never start and have told the system to require a password 8 hours after
sleep or screensaver begins. This is on an early
