Hi Johnny Angel, The mac can create images from a scanner and from its internal camera. I suppose you could attach an external camera as well. But if you want OCR, then the quickest way I have found so far, is to use fine reader express. It is in the mac app store and it costs 80 euros, I think

Hi guys: I've gotten the drivers for my Cannon scanner. I have image capture recognizing it. It can make the scanner start, and save to doccuments. But when I try to open them with Abbyy, they're blank. Any suggestions, other than a new scanner?:) TIA and have a great evening.
