iPhone 8 has an area on the screen that has the feel of a button, but it is
not a physical, mechanical button like on the iPhone 6 or earlier. It gives
haptic feelings to suggest pressing a physical button.

The iPhone 8 and earlier all have Home buttons. The iPhone X and newer do not.
