Thanks for the question. I'm reading these threads hoping for enlightenment on
this. I'd love to read a TDS and PH meters. A true magazine too. It appears
that most demonstrations just use white paper with black uniform text. How
about someone scanning a colour supplement. A magazine

No of course it cant read comic books. It cant interpret pictures. It also
isn't a music ocr engine either.

Now that many on this list and other lists have had some time to play with
the KNFB Reader app on the phone, I would like to know if it can read
clothing labels, print on round cans and bottles. And no responses to an
earlier post of mine on digital LCD readouts.

and the width of the item, it can read some things but minimal. OCR on round
items is really hard and this isn't the app for that. It does state this in the

unpractical reading displays with this kind of app, since you'll have to take
action for a display to update, then you will have to read what the display
says after updating which means going back and taking another

The digital LCD readout would be stationary, so I wouldn't think I would need
real time readouts. It's a measuring device that gathers info on pinch
strength. I am not sure what the contrast of the numbers
