Hi,
I do have an iPhone 12 mini, and I am not experiencing this.
Cheers,

Hi,
No, sorry, nothing like that, although I don’t have the same model of iPhone.
I realize that it’s a pain in the behind, but I recommend a wipe and restore
from backup. It sounds to me like some wires got crossed during the update.

Dear all,
Since the latet ios update last Thursday, my iphone 12 mini has been going
completely silent at random intervals and eventually rebooting. I did a
hard reset twice and it works for a while and then eventually it freezes up
again.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks
Kerry
Same here, the bug seemed fixed in 9.2

I stand corrected, it does speak the time when you press the home
button, though it's a bit more delayed than it used to be I think.
Original message:
The bug is still there, so you have to press the home button and swipe
right or left to get the time.

I've given it quite a while, and it will sometimes not say anything. You gotta
love random bugs! I'm on a 6s Plus, if that matters.

Actually, for what it's worth, I am finding that the bug seems to no longer
exist on my end. Believe me. Having that feature back is very welcomed!

I wonder if anybody can tell me if the bug where the iPhone stopped announcing
the time from lock screen with a press of the Home button has been fixed in the
iOS update released today..
I find this quite an important feature. Often I will just feel into my shirt
pocket to press the home
What I have seen is that it takes several seconds before one here's the time.
It could be that you were not waiting long enough before you hear it. At least
that is been my experience as far. It works, but it takes a few seconds before
you the time which is not happening when this was working
I've seen my phone fail to speak the time in 9.2. It's rare, but it does
happen, at least to me. Others have no problems at all, though, so it's hard to
say whether you'll encounter this or not.

iPhone 5. Its almost instant, either with wake button or home.
Sometimes the focus is elsewhere but still, extremely short delay then
the time is spoken.

I have not seen this bug at all since updating to 9.2 earlier. It
was very evident in 9.1 but now, every time I press the home button or
wake the phone, I get the time.

Sometimes, it takes a little bit of time for the focus to go to the time and
announce it. This is especially true when one brings the unlock screen back up
right after locking the device.

And I've noticed that Voiceover sometimes get statically where I have
to turn it off and back on.
