There are currently bugs which conflict with MBraille and iOS 7 with
VoiceOver on. Not sure about 7.1 and 7.1.1. Not only that self voicing
mode has its own advantages over using VoiceOver such as independent
speech rate and volume per language and even per dialect.

I'll share one more. Use self voicing mode activated with VoiceOver off.

Hello,
Does anyone here use MBraille on the IPhone? I just started using it, and
really like it so far.
I was hoping people might have some tips for using it. I have some trouble with
the table layout, because the layout of the dots is a bit weird. The away
layout is easier for me, but not as

Ladies and gentleman, here is part 2 of my series on MBraille.
Unfortunately due to a bug I had to do it in two parts, the second is a
short update on why I could not do one of the tasks.
Now that is out the way, here are the links for both files on Sendspace

Hi Chris,
Yes this does work better and is the only way for me to be accurate enough to
make this app useful.
Thanks for the reminder.

In this Tech Doctor Podcast, Robert and Allison speak with Harri Pasanen, the
developer of a fabulous new braille touch screen keyboard app called MBraille.
We learn about how the app came to be and explore many of its features.
The podcast is available on iBlink Radio, in iTunes via Downcast
Have you tried the away layout yet? This is similar to BrailleTouch.

Hi Chris,
I'd be interested in a podcast on this app. I'm finding the app less than
wonderful so please convince me otherwise. I simply can't get the table lay out
to be reliable, and generally don't get on very well with this app. The
contracted braille is wonderful, no doubt about it.

I would love something like that.

I actually think the Braille Touch way of typing Braille makes much more sense
than the Perkins way. The dots are actually lined up as they appear in the
Braille cell. Moreover, they fit on the iPhone screen much better that way and
it allows you to hold the device at the same time as typing. If

Hi. I haven't used mbrial enough to be sure but I think it's slightly more
responsive. Yes, I do also like the contracted braille. Will probably keep
braille touch at least for a bit but I am thinking i may like mbraille. I need
to get all the gestures down pat though. I also lik
