Hi:
when this happens, press option/command p which, as I understand it, lets the

Changing the compose does help a lot, but, there are still some weird things
with certain HTML emails. The thing is, it isn't with all of them, just
certain ones.

Yes, I have it, mostly with hTML emails, but, sometimes, with text as well.
When using HTML, sometimes, doing command option P to convert it to text works,
other times it doesn't!
I have had this problem ever since I had my mini, and, several updates haven't
addressed it.
Also, the new line,
and this happens with other mails to and I can't pin down what happens. Maybe a
sample recordng to apple access team would help? along with a screenshot of the
email..
Take care.

Hello Dan,
Speaking an initial capital letter separately from the word happens in HTML
e-mails. Apple is aware of this problem. However, you can fix it by going into
Mail preferences and selecting the Composing tab. Set the message format to
Plain Text and all will be well.
I've no idea why ch

I do on lists and other mails. it is like it will like you said read the first
letter stop and continue reading the word. I've had this problem since I got
the thing but it is not reproducible all the time.

Another issue I'm having with VO is particularly in mail, and I can't seem to
pin down whether it's with emails from people using certain fonts or what.
It's where VO will speak the first letter of a capitalized word, just the
letter by itself, pause, and then speak the rest of that word. An
Hi:
My Mini will quite often wake up without a voice. I have to hit command f5 2
or 3 times to get it back. It can be rather annoying.

Hi Yuma,
I thought that Alex was the issue, so I've changed to Fred, but this has not
fixed the issue. It does not happen often, but still enough to be annoying, ie.
when I'm in the middle of doing something.

Hi,
Now that you mention it, my voice over has stopped crashing when i change
voices. This used to happen when i rapidly change voices right after another
key stroke. That doesn't happen anymore, or i have been sluggish lately :)

Hi Ricardo,
I don't think this is an issue which affects everyone. It's strange, I remember
a time when if an issue appeared, it generally affected everyone using VO.
Something must have changed, despite everyone using the same build of Mac OS X.

Hi list,
Although the latest update to Mac OS X has fixed the annoying bug in Finder
which prevented some of us from copying folders to FAT 32 formatted External
HDs, the issue with VO losing speech intermittently persists.
Has anyone else noticed this?
